New editions to the “Behind The Eyes” animal series

My “Behind The Eyes” animal series now has two new editions: “Two Elephants” and “Portrait of a Giraffe“.  And if all goes well, more images to come in the near future.  So watch this space!

As with my other images, they are available as fine-art prints in a range of sizes, using the world-class Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper.  Further details are on my website.

Sea Pictures Gallery group exhibition featuring “Victorian Lighthouse” I & II prints

Sea Pictures Gallery in Clare, Suffolk, here in eastern England, are featuring my “Victorian Lighthouse” I & II prints as part of the current group exhibition “Britain’s Coastal Heritage”, on show until 24th August 2012.

“Sport On Water” group exhibition – Sea Pictures Gallery

Sea Pictures Gallery in Clare, Suffolk, UK,  is hosting a new group exhibition entitled “Sport On Water”, featuring a wide range of painters and photographers on the subject of water sports and leisure on water.

The show is on until 25th June 2012 and also features two of my framed prints: the colour “Voyage” image and the toned “Rosie, Holly & Sarah” Cambridge print.

“Lion’s Stare II” featured on David Chow’s “The Art of Platinum Printing”

David Chow, one of the leading alternative printing process specialists in the UK and based near Cambridge, has kindly included my “Lion’s Stare II” image in a very interesting blog article on densitometry and the editioning of platinum prints, and gives an insight into a few of the many steps that were needed to create the superb hand-crafted prints of this image, a special edition limited to just twelve 15″ x 15″ prints.

New work – coming soon…

It’s been a busy few months!  I’ve been working on many new images, including a new botanical series, plus have been going back to one of the oldest printing processes in photography – the platinum print – in a collaboration with one of the UK’s foremost practitioners of this technique.  More on this next time.

Winter Exhibition, Suffolk, England

A local solo exhibition of my work has just started here in Suffolk, England, at Sudbury’s “The Secret Garden” restaurant and will be on until the end of January 2012.

The show has 16 Open Edition prints, all available to purchase, covering a wide range of subjects, including the award-winning black & white Pink Tulip Study IV floral piece, a print of Portrait of an Elephant II  from the Behind The Eyes series and many more images.

Suffolk Showcase 2011 group exhibition, Smith’s Row gallery, UK
