My “Behind The Eyes” animal series now has two new editions: “Two Elephants” and “Portrait of a Giraffe“. And if all goes well, more images to come in the near future. So watch this space!
As with my other images, they are available as fine-art prints in a range of sizes, using the world-class Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper. Further details are on my website.
All the best, Paul

They do great coffee and French cuisine. Well worth a visit if you’re in the Sudbury area!

The East Anglian Daily Times, here in the UK, have run a three-page profile in their weekend supplement on my work, background and recent awards.
We talked about how I gained an interest in photography all those years ago, ideas behind the photographs, some of the challenges encountered and other topics. The article featured many images, including those from the Behind The Eyes series and seascapes.
Very many thanks to Arts Editor Andrew Clarke and the EADT for putting together a great article!

New photographs from my recent visit to the UK’s stunning Lake District and Scotland’s beautiful and rugged south-east coast will be online soon.
During the five-day trip I was accompanied by my wife and an old friend, who adventurously climbed a few of the local mountains along the well-worn paths to gain spectacular views from the summits or walk around the deep lakes, while I clambered over rocks along the rugged Scottish shorelines with my camera gear and tripod or made my way through the masses of vibrant green vegetation and deep forests in the Lake District. During the day we’d meet-up to enjoy the local food and swap stories of our excursions before crashing-out at the end of each day at the local B&Bs.
Here’s one of the images from the new work – the spectacular Stock Ghyll Force waterfall in the Lake District. The second photograph, taken by our companion Lindsay Vigor, gives a clue to the frequent weather conditions we had during the trip, with my wife helping-out with an umbrella on our last day in Scotland, at Portpatrick.

Many thanks again to the UK’s B+W Photography Magazine and The Imaging Warehouse, who chose my “Below Zero” series as one of three photographers’ work to be featured in the Readers’ Pictures section of the current edition, May 2010. The series is printed across a two-page spread: Studies 1 to 4 on one page and the final image, “Below Zero, Study 5”, on its own full-page.
The photographs were taken in January 2010, during one of the UK’s longest coldest winters for many decades, with much of the county frozen for months.
Clicking on the cover will take you to the magazine’s main website, and the featured series pages will take you to Below Zero on my website.
